Sketches of my Brother
It’s been a while since I’ve done any drawing. It’s easy to forget how much I enjoy it. A couple nights ago my brother came back from college for the winter break, and we each sketched each other simultaneously, on opposite sides of the sketchbook.
I experimented a little bit with caricatures, which I really haven’t done before. (Definitely inspired by my friend Sagan Lacy– check out his caricatures. Mine suck in comparison.) Here are the sketches:
And for reference:

My brother.
Definitely want to do some more drawing…

What a flattering depiction of yours truly. You’re very talented!
Dang!! Nice updated site! Great work! I’m definitely adding this to my RSS feed… does your blog have an RSS feed? Guess i’ll find out =)
Hey Chris, thanks a lot! I haven’t yet added an RSS feed link, but I think you can use this link: feed://www.colinlevy.com/blog/?feed=rss2
Let me know if that works for you!
Nice sketching Levy. Your friend’s gallery has some awesome caricatures too.
Yup,it works. Cya back in Savannah soon!
Nice work man. I’ve been practicing caricatures too. Have you seen some lessons at Tom Richmond’s site? He’s a MAD magazine artist and has some pretty cool guides.
Hello Colin,
I am really impressed with your work. really appreciated work. I am also studying for visual effects in one of the university in Indonesia. I have a doubt on “clone pass” methode. Could you please advise me how to do that. Like same person passing a MUG or a can to the duplicate of him!
Thanks a lot
