Woo, lookie here! We’ve just released the trailer for the short film “Sintel”, which I’ve been directing in Amsterdam since August. That makes two trailers in two weeks for me! :D (Check the post below.)

The comments are pouring in on the official “Project Durian” site. Lots of enthusiasm, it’s very motivating!

I’ve decided that I love cutting trailers. It’s sortof a different exercise than editing an actual film. There’s no problems with continuity, less of a focus on performance, only about threading along ideas and making an impact. If I fail as a director perhaps I could edit trailers for a living?

Great work on the trailer, very epic feeling to it!
As others at the Durian Blog have said, it doesn’t reveal too much, but just enough to make me want to see more.

The modeling and animation are also great, especially for such a short time and small team!

    Hi Colin this is Ayoub
Thank you for the tuts looking forward to see more, I know that you have great knowledge of 3d and other things, it will be awesome if you show us some of the Sintel technique just a little, I listen to your interview with Andrew I start looking who is Colin and I discover that you got a lot I mean you are a professional artist I so want to learn from you, it been a while I start learning 3d and other software like AFX … but no one care about me or even encourage me but I’ll prove myself as an artist someday really I spend huge time on doing this but I won’t give-up , I think I bore you with this sorry for that, last thing I want to say, I saw a fast video of the working on Sintel I really like it I know that you have wonderful time with your friends I wish if I had the chance to be with you but this won’t change anything,
Thanks If read this, I know you don’t have much time for this silly messages, I hope you’ll hear my name with the top artist in the future, and goodbye
